I haven't been on here a while, I check every now and again but I don't put any artwork up. I think that since finishing uni and starting my job nearly a year ago I have lost my enthusiasm for making art. I love art, I love being able to create images, but I seem to have lost the little inspiration I had. I do little sketches now and then and some photography aswell, but I feel to tired to actually do something bigger or actually finish anything. I used to be able to create full drawings, I wouldn't stop until it was finished, now I have quite a few started drawings pinned to my wall. Nothing is finished or completed, I usually lose interest

Hello to the people who will have the notification in their messages that I have posted a new journal and also a hello to the people who just stumble upon it. So I am writing a Summer Journal edition, quite alot has happened this year and it is only now that I have time to reflect upon it. I have just finished university in Preston, I got a 2:1 in my BA(Hons)Drawing and Image Making course, which I am extremely happy about. The work went really well I continued the idea that I had started in my last journal, but I ended up changing the scale of the drawings I was creating and reverted back to A4/A3 size rather than almost life size. So summer has passed and lots of eventful things have happened. But I have been back at uni for over 2 months, the work that I planned to do over the summer never happened, I just lost my motivation and told myself I'd do it tomorrow.  I did do a few drawings over the summer which I am proud of and also got the idea for my final year project finalised. My project is called The Individual in a Crowd. "I am looking at creating artwork around the idea of crowds, people and the individual.
